I will be guiding in southern Patagonia – through the waters of the Beagle Channel and Magellan Strait – on the Lindblad/National Geographic ship NG Endurance. This amazing 19 day itinerary covers so much of Patagonia, including Isla de los Estados/Staten Island (so remote and unvisited that probably no one you know has even heard of it). The photo below is from my last visit to Isla de los Estados with Lindblad, November 2023.
The route includes landings at some very remote places, and we will also zodiac cruise around some serious glaciers!

Then, later this year, I will be crossing the entire Pacific, from Australia to South America, with Silversea on their ship Silver Cloud. This voyage is divided up into four distinct cruises:
- Darwin to Fiji
- Fiji to Tahiti
- Tahiti to Valparaiso (Chile)
- Valparaiso to Puerto Willams
That third one, departing from Tahiti, is an amazing trans-Pacific route, with anticipated stops in the Tuamotus, the Marquesas, Mangareva, the Pitcairns, and Rapa Nui/Easter Island.
It’s an amazing route – both for the scenic and remote islands we will visit, and for the unique and authentic cultural experiences we will share with the Polynesian people.
