Writing for web

Jacqueline is a contributing editor of the world’s largest and most important Adventure Racing website SleepMonsters.com. SleepMonsters publishes news articles (e.g. about upcoming races, or racer profiles) as well as provides “live” daily coverage of multi-day races. This website is read by tens of thousands of trail-runners and adventure racers in more than 60 countries, and receives an average of half a million page-views per months (the total for 2008 was over 8,000,000 page-views).

Jacqueline is an adventure racer herself.  You can read about races that she both raced in and reported on for SleepMonsters (don’t be looking for good grammar here – reports are written in a state of total exhaustion, often perched in a puddle, at the end of each race day, and are posted without any proofing):

MOMAR Ucluelet, Vancouver Island: 45 km adventure race, May 2006 (kayak/bike/run), placed 3rd female!
Costa Rica’s Coastal Challenge: Route of Fire 120/220 km 6-day ultramarathon, January 2008 (DNF)
MOMAR Shawnigan Lake, Vancouver Island: 50 km adventure race, May 2008, placed 3rd female again!
MOMAR Cumberland, Vancouver Island: 45 km adventure race, September 2008, 3rd again!!
Costa Rica’s Coastal Challenge: Rainforest Expedition Run, 232 km 6-day ultramarathon, February  2009, finished (half of the field didn’t…)

You can also read about the many adventure races around the world that she has covered for SleepMonsters, including:
